A Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from UC's Wireless Research Centre (WRC) involves extensive, sustained, original research and study. You present your findings in a thesis which contributes to the intellectual knowledge in the field. Learn more about doing a PhD with us.

Master鈥檚 research at the Wireless Research Centre (WRC) is done through our Master of Engineering (ME) programme. The research you can do depends on your background and the focus of your thesis project. If we find mutual interest in a topic, we'll find you the most appropriate academic department and co-supervisor. Check out our Master's programme.

If you're enrolled in a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours BE(Hons) or Bachelor of Science BSc(Hons) programme, you can apply to undertake wireless research at WRC. Learn more about doing an Honours degree with us.

The WRC is always looking for New Zealand-based university postgraduate students who are currently studying and want to do wireless communication research. This research forms part of your postgraduate degree. Learn more about New Zealand students at the WRC.

If you're currently studying overseas and you'd like to do a research project at the Wireless Research Centre (WRC), we can work with you to find a project that suits. You'll need to fund your own expenses but we provide academic support from leading researchers in the wireless field. Learn more about international students at the WRC.

The WRC accepts a limited number of interns each year. Usually this work forms part of your studies at your local university or tertiary study institute. This study is fully funded by you.
