Ecological Engineering solves problems for societies and the environment by designing solutions based on the interdependence of people and ecosystems. Research at the Centre for EcoLogical Technology Solutions (CELTS) focuses on solutions that are holistic, valorise waste resources, and align to the circular economy. Learn more about the centre.

HOW TO APPLY

Ecological Engineering/P奴hanga rauropi聽solves problems for societies聽and聽for the environment by designing solutions based on the interdependency of people and their ecosystems.

Most of the research projects centre around Clean Water Technologies (CWT) 鈥 both on pollution prevention and pollution mitigation.

The聽research group聽is a mini传媒 bunch and聽our research is conducted in partnership with councils, iwi and industry. If you would like to join our dynamic team, applications are welcome all year around but please refer to聽Criteria for Research Candidates聽information before contacting Prof. O鈥橲ullivan.


Director of Research

CELTS is led by Prof. Aisling (Ash) O鈥橲ullivan and is part of the wider Hydrological and Ecological Engineering Research Group, which Prof. O鈥橲ullivan co-founded in 2010. We are part of the Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering / P奴hanga Metarahi me te Rawa Taiao at the University of mini传媒 (UC).
