Seismic testing may have major impact for concrete walls

University of mini传媒 researchers are conducting earthquake testing to better understand the performance of a construction technique, called staggered lapsed splices, which is used to connect听steel bars in reinforced concrete walls to the steel bars coming out of the foundations. Professor Pujol and PhD student Charlie Kerby recently gave听insights into听their work which receives funding support from EQC.听
