Know what to do before and during an emergency
All departments and service units have an听mini传媒 Procedures flip chart听outlining what to do in various types of emergencies. The flip charts are on display throughout the University. If you have not seen the flip charts, ask where they are or view the PDF file versions of each page below.

What is an emergency?
An emergency event which has the potential to seriously affect the University could occur from any of the following circumstances. This is not a definitive list and our emergency procedures have been developed with the expectation of having to respond to something new:

If an emergency event impacts the University, it is advisable to check the UC Facebook page and Twitter for up-to-date information.
If the above means of communication are disrupted, information will be conveyed to staff and students via whatever means are available and best suit the situation.
