Arcady Hall (previously Bishop Julius Hall) has a tradition of excellence since 1917.听 Arcady Hall is a small hall that provides a "home away from home" with an informal, friendly atmosphere.听 With a study centre, common room, and a landscaped central courtyard, the hall provides a warm, fun environment for you to obtain the best academic results and to make lifelong friends amongst the 169 residents and Residential Assistants. Facilities feature a maker-space/hobby lobby that is unique to Arcady Hall. The maker-space includes a lego wall, 3-D printer, sewing machine, and more!
Arcady Hall is a short 7 minute walk through the University gardens to the Puaka-James Hight Library, lecture theatres, Haere-roa (UC Students' Association) and other student facilities.
