"A lot is being done around biculturalism, particularly within the School of Teacher Education. It鈥檚 hugely important for our teacher trainees to develop a bicultural understanding because they鈥檒l be the ones out there working alongside our next generation.
"The School teaches te reo M膩ori, and tikanga M膩ori (M膩ori language, protocols, values, and culture) and encourages teacher trainees to grow a heart for te ao M膩ori (the M膩ori world)."
